Members can be active or non active Volunteers
Volunteering in Neighbourhood Watch are many. It may be as simple as helping out with a letter drop, a fund-raising event, joining our Graffiti Busters group. There are many ways to get involved. It’s really what you wish to do that matters.
You might wish to assist with our Newsletter writing and this website and /or our future e-newsletter, perhaps Social Media. You might wish to get more involved and join our Committee at some point. There is much to do and we need all the help we can get. many hands deliver more results.
Most of all, However, Volunteering with NHW 3193 is helping out our Community in some way. It’s rewarding and we try and make it fun too. You will meet new friends and develop perhaps some new interests.
How much time you wish to spend is entirely up to you, just tell us your availability and what interests you have. We’ll try and make it work for you.
Neighbourhood Watch is very flexible and we are always looking for new ways to make our Community a safer and a better place. Examples of our recent initiatives are our quarterly Special Education Events on issues that matter to our Community. Also our campaign to rid the suburb of Graffiti and to add extra beauty through attractive Murals.
The point is that YOU might be able to suggest and then help us implement new initiatives, all aimed towards one goal -to make our suburb safer and better.
